Student STEM Workshops
Introduction
Bringing innovation directly to students through hands-on, experiential STEM workshops facilitated by trained Master Trainers across Gujarat.
How It Works
Step 1: School Registration
Teachers nominate students (grades 6–12) through the online registration portal. Each school can nominate up to 30 students per workshop.
Step 2: Workshop Scheduling
Master Trainers coordinate with schools to schedule 3–4 hour workshops based on availability and district priorities.
Step 3: Hands-on Learning
Students engage in experiments, design challenges, prototyping activities, and collaborative problem-solving under expert facilitation.
Step 4: Innovation Showcase
Students develop mini-projects and innovations that can be submitted to the Gujarat STEM Exhibit for state-level recognition.
Workshop Structure
- Warm-up Activity (30 mins): Icebreakers and introduction to the day’s theme
- Scientific Experiment (60 mins): Hands-on exploration of core concepts
- Design Challenge (60 mins): Problem identification and ideation
- Prototyping Session (45 mins): Building solutions with available materials
- Presentation & Feedback (30 mins): Sharing innovations and peer learning
- Next Steps (15 mins): Project continuation and exhibition preparation

Students from classes 6–12 in Government and Aided schools across Gujarat
Requirements
- School nomination by teacher/principal
- Parental consent (for minors)
- Commitment to attend full workshop duration
