Lab Model

 

Model 1: Basic STEM Lab

Ideal for: Primary and upper primary schools (classes 1–8)

Space Requirements: 200–300 sq. ft. dedicated room

Core Equipment:

  • Basic science experiment kits
  • Mathematics manipulatives and geometry tools
  • Low-cost innovation materials (cardboard, motors, LEDs, etc.)
  • Safety equipment and first-aid kit
  • Storage cabinets and student workbenches

Setup Support: Equipment list, vendor details, layout plans, safety guidelines

 

Model 2: Advanced ATL Lab

Ideal for: Secondary and higher secondary schools (classes 9–12)

Space Requirements: 500+ sq. ft. with separate zones for different activities

Core Equipment:

  • Robotics and electronics kits (Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
  • 3D printers and design software
  • Advanced science equipment (microscopes, sensors, meters)
  • Computers with coding and CAD software
  • Project display and exhibition area

Setup Support: ATL guidelines compliance, equipment procurement, teacher training, project mentorship

 

Model 3: Mobile STEM Lab

Ideal for: Multi-school clusters in rural and remote areas

Concept: Portable STEM equipment and trained facilitators visiting schools on rotation

Core Equipment:

  • Modular experiment kits in portable cases
  • Battery-powered tools and devices
  • Projection and demonstration equipment
  • Workshop materials for 50+ students

Coverage: One mobile lab serves 10–15 schools quarterly

Request Process: District Education Office coordination required
